Home Inventory & Warranty Tracker

NestLedger is a home inventory website made for people who wanna keep track of their belongings, receipts, warranties, and purchase details without stuffing everything into random drawers, phone albums, spreadsheets, or email folders. It’s basically one organized spot for the important stuff around the house. Users can add an item, upload its picture, choose which room it belongs to, enter what they paid, save the model and serial number, attach the receipt, and add the warranty information. Once it’s saved, everything shows up in a clean inventory that can be searched or filtered whenever they need it. So, instead of wondering when the refrigerator warranty ends or where the receipt for the camera went, they can just open the website and check. The main dashboard gives a quick look at what’s currently stored in the account: total number of items estimated value of everything active warranties upcoming reminders recently added belongings and items grouped by room The room setup helps keep things from getting messy. Someone can separate belongings into the kitchen, bedroom, living room, garage, home office, or any other room they add. Each room shows how many items are inside and their combined value, which is pretty useful when the inventory starts getting bigger. There’s also a full My Items area with search and filters. Users can look for something by name, narrow the list down by room or category, and check whether the warranty is active, close to expiring, or already expired. They can switch between the different items without having to scroll through a bunch of unrelated information. Clicking an item opens its full page. That page includes the product picture, purchase price, purchase date, category, room, retailer, model number, serial number, warranty status, personal notes, attached documents, and a small activity history showing when things were added or updated. The warranty section is one of the main parts of the website. It separates active, expiring, and expired warranties so the user can quickly see what needs attention. Upcoming expirations are shown clearly, and reminders can be created when adding an item. This can help someone contact the store, manufacturer, or warranty provider before their coverage runs out instead of remembering a few days too late. Receipts, manuals, warranty files, and product pictures can be uploaded directly to the matching item. That way, the documents aren’t just sitting in one giant folder with names that make no sense later. And yeah, the information actually saves. This isn’t only a collection of pretty frontend screens. The listing includes the backend setup needed for accounts, inventory records, rooms, warranty details, reminders, and uploaded document references. Each user gets their own private inventory and cannot see another person’s items. The website is responsive too, so it can be opened from a computer, tablet, or phone. The desktop version gives more room for tables and item details, while smaller screens stack everything into a layout that’s easier to tap through. The current NestLedger design has a calm home-related look with white and soft stone backgrounds, dark text, forest-green buttons, and smaller terracotta and mustard details. It feels organized without looking like accounting software. I can swap the current name, logo, colors, example rooms, and demo items with your own information. It could stay as a personal home inventory product, or be adjusted for landlords, property managers, insurance preparation, furnished rentals, storage units, office equipment, or another type of item-tracking business. What you’re getting is the working foundation shown in the images: the overview dashboard, complete inventory, individual item records, warranty tracking, document uploads, rooms, reminders, and the form used to add new belongings. You won’t have to explain every page and wait for the whole thing to be planned from nothing. The main flow is already put together and can be customized around the audience you want to serve. Simple idea, useful purpose, and honestly the type of website people don’t realize they need until they’re desperately looking for a receipt from three years ago.
