Boutique Hotel Booking Website
I built this as a direct-booking website for an independent hotel, not as a marketplace containing hundreds of unrelated properties.
Guests begin by choosing their check-in date, check-out date, and number of people. The website checks the hotel’s room inventory and only displays accommodations that are available for the selected stay.
Search results provide enough information to compare the rooms without opening every option first. Guests can see the bed type, maximum occupancy, room size, main amenities, cancellation terms, nightly rate, and total cost for the stay.
When someone opens a room, they’ll find a complete photo gallery along with its description, included amenities, check-in information, and property policies. The price panel remains visible beside the room details and shows:
- selected travel dates
- number of guests
- nightly rate
- room subtotal
- taxes and fees
- complete reservation total
The current hotel identity is The Linden House, a fictional 42-room boutique property. That branding can be kept or changed during customization, but it is not repeatedly built into the underlying booking logic.
Once a room is selected, the guest continues to checkout. They can provide their contact details, expected arrival time, accessibility requirements, and any special requests before entering payment information.
The reservation is connected to actual room availability. When a booking is completed, the selected room inventory is updated for those dates so the same accommodation cannot continue being sold beyond its available quantity.
The customer receives a booking confirmation containing the reservation number, room, dates, guest count, amount paid, hotel contact information, and cancellation terms.
Guests may also return through the Manage Booking area. Using their reservation details, they can review the stay and submit an eligible cancellation request without creating a permanent account.
There is a separate private area for hotel staff.
Reservations can be searched and filtered by:
- date range
- booking status
- room type
- reservation source
- guest name or confirmation number
The reservation table shows upcoming arrivals, departures, room assignments, balances, and booking statuses. Staff can distinguish between confirmed reservations, checked-in guests, arrivals due that day, and cancelled stays.
A dedicated arrivals panel gives the front desk a quicker view of who is expected next. It includes room-readiness information and relevant guest notes, such as a late arrival, accessibility request, or special occasion.
Room inventory and pricing are managed from the same administration area. Staff can adjust room availability, temporarily close a room, change nightly rates, and review upcoming occupancy without editing the public website.
The public side also includes sections for the property’s rooms, dining information, neighborhood recommendations, image gallery, policies, and contact details. This allows the website to represent the full hotel rather than functioning as a reservation form with no supporting information.
Payment processing is already part of the booking flow. The final setup will require the buyer’s payment-provider credentials, email service, hotel policies, tax settings, and business information.
The design is intentionally calm and hospitality-focused. It uses warm photography, readable room information, and a clear booking path without discount timers, loyalty pop-ups, or travel-marketplace distractions.
This project is suited to an independent hotel, boutique inn, guesthouse, or small lodging property that wants customers to reserve directly through its own website while keeping day-to-day bookings organized behind the scenes.
